With approximately 3,500 students in medicine and dentistry, Frankfurt is one of the largest universities for medical students in Germany and has been part of the UCAN network since 2021. By joining the network, digital examinations are to be designed in a legally secure and fail-safe manner. In the long term, it is planned to use UCAN tools in all areas: whether it is tests in the treatment course, OSCE exams in the clinical subjects or the continuous development of complex question types (key feature cases). The experience gained in smaller projects will be used to enable a continuous transition to tEXAM and tOSCE and to improve the quality of examinations in the long term.
